01 Life Burns - Bad One, really , It could have been on the Bittersweet CD, Lauri doesn't fit in there and the cello sound is very silent. It's the only song on the Album I can just say: I don't like it!
02 Quutamo - A Masterpiece, another melancholic song in the Apocalyptica Repertoire.
03 Distraction - Great! A song in "Harmaggedon" style, I love it. Such a song was really still missing :)
04 Bittersweet - Oh no, they've taken the version with the vocalists :), Bittersweet(instrumental) is one of the best romantic Apocalyptica songs.
05 Misconstruction - Special One, Some of you like me already got the hole song on the Bittersweet CD, metal in the beginning (what did they do to the cello sound) and then a very melodic Part. It gives you a feeling like "Drive" on the Reflections Album.
06 Fisheye - Interesting, I'm really looking forward to the live perfomance for this song, who bangs faster? :) But also some quietness is in it, very good!
07 Farewall - They've beaten they're ballade "standard". Not just he name is a bit like "Faraway" it is also a wonderful romantic song. Impressive.
08 Fatal Error - It's like the song is narrating a story, very complex in its own. Sounds good.
09 Betrayal/Forgiveness - A new "Refuse/Resist" is born, Slayer and Sepultura are still a part of Apocalyptica, you just hear it :)
10 Ruska - I almost cried, an amazing melancholic ballade, and the piano was a good choice, one of the best songs.
11 Deathzone - Beautiful, like a hymne. Words can't discribe much, hear it!
So, at all, the only thing i really can say in an obejctive(:P) result:
I WANT TO HAVE THIS ALBUM!!!
The songs are just great and i would buy the album just for songs like Farewell Deathzone,Ruska and Quutamo. It is like i hope it would be. Melancholic, deep and romantic but also impulsive and strong.
The drums are a bit too much in the Foreground, they're too loud but this could also be the bad quality of these pre listening files.
I hope I don't have to wait longer then 20 days to own this album.
Again, Apocalyptica secured themselves one big fan.
