John Frusciante et son pote Omar Rodriguez-Lopez ont monté un nouveau groupe ensemble, baptisé Kimono Kult. Le sextet livrera un premier EP le 4 mars intitulé « Hiding In The Light« . Comme on pouvait s’y attendre, la description des chansons est un chouilla tarabiscotée: “four songs of electro/dub/afro-beat/avant-freak/jazz-like conversations of instrumental ecstasy”.
