Peter Doherty poursuit sa tournée promotionnelle pour son deuxième album solo, Hamburg Démonstrations. Il a également profité pour donner une interview à Krishnan Guru-Murthy de Channel 4 , entre deux dates britanniques.

Au cours de cette interview, le chanteur revient sur son premier groupe The Libertines et la suite à venir (confirmant au passage une récente déclaration de Carl Barat sur NME, où le co-leader déclarait que le groupe allait bosser sur un nouvel album en 2017) :
« The Libertines is a lifelong trip with very dear friends, that for one reason or another will never end »
On comprend également qu’il déteste les étiquettes qu’on lui colle et l’image que les médias avec une aide majeure de sa part créé :
