Quatre ans après « What Went Down » qui a trouvé sa place dans la discographie du groupe sans la bouleverser (relisez notre chronique), Foals annonce la sortie d’un nouvel album en 2019.
Pas plus d’informations à se mettre sous la dent. Ah si, Yannis Philippakis nous sort le couplet classique du climat tendu actuel qui aurait influencé l’écriture de l’album :
I definitely feel that when I’m writing lyrics or music, that it’s in dialogue with what’s going on around me in isolation – so I’m sure there will be things in the lyrics to do with, not just the political climate but also the environmental situation that’s happening now. I think that it will be there.
Le groupe sera de passage à Nürburg en Allemagne pour le Rock Am Ring et le Rock Im Park en juin 2019.
