On ne l’a pas vu venir, on l’avoue mais Metallica balance un nouveau single (« Lux Æterna ») annonciateur d’un album (« 72 Seasons » sortie prévue le 14 Avril 2023) annonciateur d’une tournée ! BAM !
L’album de 12 titres a été produit à nouveau par Greg Fidelman (Slipknot/Slayer) avec Lars et James qui déclare :
« 72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.”

L’album est dispo à la pré-commande et le M72 World Tour passera bien par la France.
Deux dates sont prévues au Stade de France les 17 et 19 Mai prochain pour Metallica. Le concept ? Chaque soir, une tracklist différentes et une première partie différente (Architects & Mammoth WVH pour Paris). Les ventes de billets commencent ce vendredi et quelque chose me oit que ça va pas être donné.
