Les 49e Grammy Awards sont bouclés et bien évidemment les résultats sont là, consacrant les Red Hot Chili Peppers dans la section rock avec le titre de meilleur album rock de l’année, le titre rock avec « Dani California » et meilleure chanson dans la catégorie groupes. Rick Rubin a été désigné meilleur producteur de l’année et les Wolfmother ont remporté le titre du meilleur morceau de hardrock avec « Woman » alors que dans la catégorie metal, c’est Slayer et « Eyes Of The Insane » qui l’emporte. Par contre, pas encore de vidéo de The Police sur le net pour la cérémonie…
